Last month I left the dev team at Atari and took on a publishing role at Sega Europe as Head of Content. My area of focus is the overall quality of Sega’s games, which means that I evaluate games at each stage of development (from initial pitch to gold master), help evaluate titles Sega is considering publishing, pitch Japanese-sourced titles into the SEGA greenlight process and generally provide a game design perspective where it’s required. It’s a pretty awesome job so far and hopefully I’ll be here for a long time to come.
Anyway, that’s all.
I probably won’t be updating this blog anymore with any real posts. I just don’t have the energy to write anything over 140 characters anymore. Blogging is so 2007. Sorry!
Hey, my name is Marek Bronstring and I'm Head of Content at Sega. You're looking at my rarely-updated game design blog. I think this sidebar needs some more text so let me tell you what my top favorite animals are: 1) meerkats 2)
Well done sir! Too bad too hear of your waning energy it would be awesome to see some nice big posts from you with insight gleamed at your new position

Congrats Marek!
Now I can expect for Sega of Europe to go back to the time when top quality was in Sega games.
Shame that Twittering seems to have weirdly taken over the western world… good blogs are disappearing.

Congratulations!
Would it be crass of me to request some re-releases of some Panzer Dragoon games? I want to play Orta in HD. Er, I mean, congratulations!

Hey man, I know I got to say so in person already, but congrats on the new gig. That’s so big deal stuff! I’m really glad to know that someone like you gets to help guide a company like Sega toward bringing high-quality games to the world. Do us all proud.
