AdventureGamers.com — the graphic/point-and-click adventure game website that I founded almost ten years ago — just got a huge face-lift. Check it out. I designed and coded it all in my spare time over the past months. (The PHP code is based on the site’s existing CMS written by AG’s webmaster and server admin Doug Tabacco.)
I had somewhat neglected AG for some years, not having much time to be directly involved (and, admittedly, I got a little sick of adventure games for a while). The site’s content was and still is in good hands, namely those of editor Jack Allin, but I felt a responsibility to update the site’s aging layout and help add some cool new features, so that’s what I did. Some of those new features are still to come, so if you are a visitor of AG, stay tuned for more.
Soooo… BioShock.
Great work Marek. The text is larger than it used to be, right? If it is, great improvement. If it’s the same size, it’s still good.

Awesome. It looks very organized and slick. I heart AG.

Yes, font sizes overall have increased. The body text font (which I think is what you mean?) is now 2 points bigger, and with more space between the lines. I like it too.
And thanks!

Very very nice… makes Mojo look tired in comparison: like a man who watches late night TV because he is too lazy to go up to bed.

I have to say it here too, absolutely great work Marek.
AG looks fresh and more live than perhaps ever.
I like the new design and I’ve been trying to thing what that one reserved space will contain, but I can’t figure it out!
Hey and the staff blog, that’s a great new idea, it’s nice to get to hear what people have to say, especially those staffers who aren’t that active in the forums.

The goal of the staff blog is to show a little bit of AG’s personality that we wouldn’t be able to show otherwise. I’m glad you are enjoying it.

Reserved space… the anticipation builds!
I think the new site is awesome. (and I’m not just saying that because I’m on staff)
